Are you prepared?

Most of the articles I share focus on circumstances you can control. But here's a scary one you can't. We all remember 2008 and the devastation the recession caused across the country.I was in California at the time and just like everywhere else, most companies were downsizing. I had friends who were unemployed and even more friends who were underemployed for years. It's such a painful memory, that it's easy to want to pretend it won't happen again. But ignoring the issue is likely to make it worse. Not surprisingly, data shows that companies which prepare for a recession ahead of time fare better than those that don't.So... does it seem like it's never the right time to implement that new, expensive software that requires a lot of internal change? Of course, it always feels like that. But this article shows that getting things automated ahead of time is one of the most important actions you can take to protect your company. There are a lot of good suggestions here. Definitely worth the read. What Sales Teams Should Do to Prepare for the Next Recession
